I attended Omar Martin's webinar about a week and a half ago, the webinar that was billed, "The Most Important Webinar ..." that they, he and his wife, ever gave. And that was the phraseology of everyone else who was promoting the webinar also used, John Thornhill, Dave Nicholson, and all of the others that I heard from. I am probably on everyone's mailing list. I've bought products from just about everybody under the sun, and I don't know how to click "unsubscribe" unless I feel that I am really being harassed. I don't want to miss anything important. And I also check the news ten times a day. Sound familiar? Omar spoke about how for 18 months he woke up every morning and basically started over from scratch, letting the internet guide him instead of him guiding the internet. Going at it on his own, waiting to find that button that will make him rich. I found Omar's words very eye opening, as they described me too close for comfort. Except that whereas for him, he wasted 18 months until that one day that everything changed, for me it has been the past 10 years and more. And I wasn't looking for that proverbial magical button, I was rather trying to develop my own income streams which would add up to be something big. But I never got passed xx-small, an income trickle which fizzled out by the time that I came along with the second stream, a scenario which repeated itself again and again. Omar also spoke about the need to treat one's home internet business like the way real businesses do. For example, even though he is his only employee, still there has to be a department of customer relations, and a department of advertising and sales, and a department of content creation, all of which have to be budgeted for, and executed. I am inspired to call it quits on my 10 years of non-success and find a way to move from rags to riches. Click here for my articles and the details of my journey.
